Capping a Gas Fire in SW2

At Landlord Certificates, when we do our Gas Safety Checks we thoroughly check each appliance in the property ensuring they are safe for the occupants. At times, especially with old gas fires they require regular servicing to ensure the burn ratio is at a safe level. Sometimes we advise landlords to cap them as they can be a costly overhead if just a feature in a property. Below is a review from a tenant who is now happy that they are Safe but still can have the gas fire.
